TIN & ALUMINUM CAPSULES

Made of pure Tin or Aluminum, these capsules are produced by drawing the material down over a mandrel, creating a one piece seamless capsule. Tin capsules are regarded as the industry standard for luxury wines and spirits. Aluminum capsules provide the same beauty and seamless design as Tin capsules but with reduced costs and increased recyclability.

Polylaminate capsules (Complex Foil) are the day-to-day standard of the industry. They combine beauty and quality with simplicity of use and an attractive pricing value. Polylaminate capsules are made with a proprietary three-layer structure of aluminum/polyethylene/aluminum laminated to form a soft tin-like capsule. They are produced by wrapping the material around a spindle and seaming the edges. An aluminum top cap is then applied. Polylaminate provides a significant cost savings when compared with traditional Tin capsules. Beautifully colored rotogravure-printed Polylaminate capsules give a depth of color that attracts the eye and captures the customer’s attention.

Heat-Shrink PVC capsules provide a cost-effective option for wineries with multiple product lines and price points, specialized bottle configurations, or applications requiring tamper evidence. Also known as heat shrinkable capsules, PVC capsules can be rotogravure-printed for brilliant color. Well applied heat-shrunk PVC capsules provide results comparable to that achieved using metallic substrates.
